At World's End Solar Park, CPM Civil Engineering was appointed by HVES to construct the civil engineering infrastructure supporting a 49.99MW renewable-energy development near Berkeley, Gloucestershire.
The package brought together the principal civil elements required around the site's electrical infrastructure, including groundworks, drainage, substation civil engineering works, reinforced concrete foundations and structures, and final stone surfacing.
Effective sequencing and coordination were central to the works, with CPM operating alongside HVES and other specialist contractors to ensure the civil infrastructure supported the wider installation programme.
World's End demonstrates CPM's ability to coordinate multiple civil engineering workstreams around specialist electrical works while maintaining control of compliance, quality and programme requirements.
